Default Food labels, what is all the missing grams made of?

Ok has anyone ever noticed that when you look at food labels food seems to be composed mostly of some mysterious dark matter that nobody seems to tell us what it is?

Let me explain as an example today.

I've got a nice big 500 gram natural bio yoghurt in front me.

Reading the back of the labels tells me the following.

100 grams gives me the following

    5.4 grams of protein
7.6 grams of carbs (7.6 of which is sugar)
    0.1 grams of fat
    Fibre 0 grams
    Sodium 0.1 grams
    salt equivilant 0.3 grams

Ok so 100 grams of food and it contains only 13.2 grams of stuff.

So what the hell is the other 87.8 grams made of?

It's not just yoghurt either its many foods. You look on the back of the labels and the parts clearly do not add up anything close to the total.

Sometimes something will have hundreds of calories but still have hardly any stuff (carbs, fat, sugar) in it, sometimes it won't have hardly any calories either.

So what is this secret ingrediant that makes up almost 90% of my yoghurt?

Anyone knowledgable on food who can enlighten me on this strange mystery?

Ive never really thought about this before. When food labels begin to look like this 카스맥주 you really begin to lose all interest in trying to bother reading what the ingredients might be. That says Cass Beer, by the way. If I could understand the ingredients I might stop drinking it because it tastes chemical and may well be killing me.

Melamine is probably in this actually. Quite toxic.
