Default IBF Boxing Champ Steve Cunningham To Receive “Briscoe” Award In Philly
Philadelphia’s only current boxing world champion, Steve ‘USS’ Cunningham, is to be presented with a “Briscoe” award for 2007 Fighter of the Year. The presentation of the award will be made at World Cafe Live, 3025 Walnut Street in Philadelphia, during a press conference to announce Cunningham's upcoming title defense against Tomasz Adamek.

Cunningham was one of four Philly fighters nominated for the “Briscoe” and won based on vote... Full Boxing Article here...

Good for him.They should make a Cunningham/G. Jones rematch now that he has won a strap as well.I like Cunningham,just wish he made the air Stateside more often.
