i believe as a general rule, 1600 is the lowest you want to go or you train your body to respond to a how shall i say, famine...and it will get more and more efficient at storing anything it gets as fat. also you will start eating muscle and that is not ever a good thing..

I ws always told that it you cut your calories to much that you will lose weight over the short term but you get a rebound effect after a few weeks
Can anyone confirm or repute this as i am not sure now?

Go to the boxer chow thread, theres alot of good recipes for coming down in weight.
One of the keys is food that makes you feel full, but are healthier. ANother good way to lean down, is when your lifting, up your reps, but lower your weight to insure leaner muscle mass. Upping your road work and crunches will help as well. You need caloric intake to function, but part of it is pointing that caloric intake in the right direction.
I pretty much dont calorie count anymore, I just structure the diets in a way I dont have to.
Of course if I ever hear one of my boxers say "McDonalds" or "Burger King" that isnt in conjunction with the words "I drove by a" Im hitting them with a brick. Seriously that stuff is fat ladled over with more fat. Unless of course they need to come up in weight in a hurry in which case, have a double whopper with cheese, its on me.

I cant do weights because of my size and i am prone to pack on muscle very easily after years of bodybuilding i just do bodyweight excercises now with high reps
My strenght and fitness trainer is getting me in a dietician to help me and do out eating progrms for me he told me today after training so i am happy with that
    thanks for your help
