Lets hope he retires so we can remember the old RJJ.
although he could still do a job, we must remember he fought someone who throws a tremendous amount of punches and against a less busy fighter could still stand a chance
At this point in his career he resembles Mike Tyson after his loss to Lennox Lewis....people kept deluding themselves with the idea he could reunite with Rooney and dominate the division. At this point in Roy's career people keep suggesting that once he gets used to the weight again he'll be the old RJJ....it's just not happening.
The way he went to the ropes and only held his hands up offering little offence or resistance reminded me a little of an aged Ali. He really looked like an old man with his stiff movements and footwork too. That wasnt the same Jones of even three or four years ago. That was hopefully the last time he fights.
if calzaghe hit harder it could of been very messy
