Something that i have noticed recently is that when i get to narrow in my stance i find that my right cross is sort of more like an over hand right, when i say narrow stance i mean my upper body angled at less than 45% presenting a small target to my opponent but to get my right cross nice and straight i have to kick the right leg out a bit more and become slightly more square about shoulders about 45% so i can get the punch off properly. So my question is does this sound correct as i worry that i may be to big a target or do i need to work on my right cross from a longer stance. Also i hear people talk a lot about inside and outside fighting but is there more to it than that like long range medium range and close range and how would you say the stance should change with each of these or is it possible to remain in the same stance for both?
