Lennox Lewis is the only one that really comes to my mind, but I get a feeling I'm forgetting someone.

I thought of Calzaghe. I suppose, if you go by the numbers. Surely Lewis is a much bigger name. With tougher opposition over the long haul.

No Hatton what ? you honestly think Ricky Hatton is in some of those great British legends leagues ? you need to learn up about some of those fighters. You will be very impressed, some people are forgetting there history here, Ricky Hatton is a good fighter with a few good wins under his belt. But he needs to get a few big wins before i even mention him amongst those legends.

I would have thought that 16 straight victories in world title fights earned Hamed a place in the top 10.

Of your main top 10 list Hatton was at least as good as Buchanan and has done more than Turpin even though his carrer is not over yet. Also its hard to judge the older boxers against todays fighters.

As for Conteh,Benn and Eubank give me a brake.

They were all well loved exciting British boxers but were never in the p4p top ten or even that close.
Eubank admited at the time there were boxers around that he would not fight because they were to good for him.

I think you must have missed Hatton out just to try and be controvercial and a bit different.

Im not so sure he was one of my favorite fighters, and i've watched most of his fights. And he did have some very good wins abroad, but bad losses to Watson, Eubank, Collins x2, Malinga, hurt his legacy somewhat.

I'll tell you one match up i would have payed to see and thats Julian Jackson vs Nigel Benn, can you imagine how awesome that match up would of been ?

Uhh mate so your going off because i didn't mention Ricky Hatton in the honourable list ? those were the fighters that come to mind first, im not going to list every single very good/great british fighter in the honourable list am i ? he does deserve a mention but he still doesn't make the top 10 no way happy enough now ?
