Johnson is a quality fighter, he's only been blown out once and that was against a prime B-Hop.
I'm not saying he isn't but he isn't in the same league as Calzaghe.
Well I can tell you this much no way we ever find out.

...of course he can. Joe being able to rely on using his instincts and movement to dodge punches and frustrate guys works pretty damn good against these older guys who themselves are not slow or old so much as they are getting slower and older. It's shown it's head twice in a row with joe being caught and knocked down twice in the first. Even joe himself stated he is much better fighter with his hands down and loose against these last two guys. But chad isn't a star of the past on his way down he a guy trying to be a star and is on his way up. Chad is faster younger and stronger when chad catches him it will be a whole different thing joe's instincts are no where near chad's speed and power at this point. Now who is the better fighter overall both at thier primes i dunno i'd probably pick joe but now it's not even a question at least in my mind. I feel sorry a bit for joe cause he does deserve the respect he's looking for but his time to get it has passed. It would have been an impressive run beating b-hop and jones some years back...anyhow if the fight was today joe would get beat and it really shouldn't take away from all the wins he does have....but it would and like stated above we will never find out.

If they fought it'd be another Lacy-style massacre.
