    That was enjoyable.

I don't know why everyone is responding so negatively.. Clearly he didn't want to talk about boxing. Wouldn't that be the equivalent of the paparazzi constantly asking celebs questions and taking photos and them responding negatively.. He has made it clear that he's retired, and never once said he planned on returning.. All of that was speculation when articles come out saying that Floyd's niece's cousins best friends uncle said he wanted to fight..

As of right now, he's retired.. If he actually said, in the interview, that he wasn't going to fight the winner of Hatton/Pac, everyone here would be saying he's ducking Pac-man or something.. so whatever.

Hillarious.......we all know floyd is a prick, douche, whatever, but as we as boxing feed into his crap everytime he says something, it only makes him more popular (in the way he wants to be popular) and more rich. Floyd says and does all this crap knowing wait betting on all of us calling him a bunch of names and carrying on.....Stop feeding to his bullshit, people that hate him talk about him more than his fans do. The dawson thing now this, the man sits up in the assclown seats at the dawson fight..why ? Cause he doesn't have cash ? Cause he doesn't have hook up No because he knew these assclows would grab thier mic and camera's and run out of breath all the way up there to get another quote to piss everyone off....cause the more we hate him, the more we'll root for one of these guys to beat him which he knows and we should by now that none of them will. This man is trying to get into our ppv buying pockets simple and plain. And interviews like this one only help him. As much as we hate the guy i guarantee if and when he comes back everyone here buys it, just as he planned. Screw the guy how bout someone fight paul williams if they want to prove something.

As somebody noted already, it's hilarious to see everybody get so interested in Mayweather, Jr. based on his antics. Mayweather, Jr. is just another Hopkins who tends to play the bad guy in order to 'sell' the drama (he admitted this via translation to Trinidad after the fight). A fight with two good guys doesn't sell as much as a fight with a good guy vs. a bad guy considering more people tune in to see the bad guy get his just desserts than to see the good guy triumph. Hate to tell you, but while De La Hoya was the draw, Mayweather sold that fight and made it a worthy pay-per-view event before the first punch was thrown. The fight was only called garbage because the man everybody wanted to lose ended up winning. That's when the excuses dropped. Same deal against Hatton. The 'blokes across the pond' ended up justifying Mayweather, Jr.'s ego by shelling out the money to see Hatton pull an upset, but came up short. Mayweather, Jr.'s attitude even after retirement is a clear indication that he plans to come back to the sport because the bad guy image only works in certain situations (i.e. boxing, wrestling and Rap music). If he wasn't considering a comeback, it wouldn't take anything for him to drop that image and adopt one that matches what he actually does (e.g. charities, promotions, etc.). He is the Howard Stern of boxing and like Stern, Mayweather Jr. is banking on everybody tuning to see what he's going to do next.

He was acting like no 'bad' guy I ever seen. Showing shitty messages in the lining of his jacket? Ooooo bad man, bad manHe probably paid extra for it, the sad prat.

No, his attitude is not something you'll see from the Joker, Jason Vorhees or Al Capone. My take on it is more a reference to a bad guy like Tony Montana. Think about the restaurant speech towards the end of the movie and his departing words. That's Mayweather, Jr.'s blueprint.

Regarding the jacket, you have to read between the lines (or else I'm reading too much into it) and consider that if he paid more for a jacket to bear his name on the lining, it's only because he got paid more by the many fans that tuned in to see him fail.

Exactly. He didnt want to discuss boxing period, and for that reporter to ask dumbass questions at his own party is stupid. Why ask him about Hatton when he beat him already?? and Calzaghe who floyd doesnt give a shit about.

Nah, he got his name in the lining because he has no personality and needs to shower himself in useless expensive shit in an effort to impress people, because his conversation certainly can't.

Yeah Money Mayweather is Partying,No Doubt!I dont have any hate for Mayweather,in fact I`am probably one of his biggest fans, because I `am A fan of the sport of Boxing.I really dont care too much about how he may be acting,or what he may be saying at some club,or at some party, everybody in here is probably guilty of behaveing worse when out on the town Partying.

Floyd lacks Charm, and personality, alway`s has,he`s not alone Joe Cal. Also comes off arrogant, and without alot of charm,And you Fuks never know how you might act if you had Whipped all the ass,and made all the Money that those two guy`s have,Boxing Fans should`nt be so critical,it takes all types in this sport.

Mayweather did not alway`s act like A Wanna-B-Thug,when he was at Lightweight Kicking Ass,he was alway`s polite, and very respectful to his opponents, which he still is as far as I can see,IMO Someone got in his ear right around the time he foughy Gatti and told him look Floyd this nice Guy Shit aint working for you,.....and they were right!......It`s just he really does`nt make A good bad Guy either, probably because he is not.IMO he`s just A young successful Guy with alot of Money and does`nt really know how to act.
