Gonzalez against JML would be guaranteed fireworks, excellent fight. Jhonny has only been in one boring fight and that was against Montiel.
He has looked like a tank lately, his blowout of Lopez was obsene.

and even that fight seemed destined to be a classic just cause of both guys fighting style and willingness to trade, individually both are great warriors, together they both seemed a bit hesitant

Jhonny vs. Izzy is IMO the fight that set things off ever since that fight in '06 boxing matchups in the years that came have been stellar.

I think the first six rounds were the best part of that fight

I remember watching it I had a bet going with El Gamo, he was sure Izzy would spark Jhonny in short order. I felt very confident until the 7th round............................................. .I miss Wacko's DRBR something fierce man.

It might have something to do with me being drunk at 2am, but man did that make me nostalgic. I really, really hope Wacko comes back again someday. I feel the forum was really at a low point when he came back the last time and I hope it didn't chase him away.
