    Smile Arreola's rating

I'm confused how is Arreola rated so high I think he's done good as lately but how in the hell does he deserve a title shot If anything i think he needs to fight Haye. For 1 a fight with Haye makes sense because if Arreola loses against Klitschko people will only say he wasn't ready. And i'd put all my money on Haye if that fight ever happened even though i doubt it would go down.
    Anyone think different
Someone really needs to prove they are ready for Klitschko he's on another stage compared to Arreola a couple of jabs and crosses will kill Arreola.

I like Chris Arreaola but IMO his style no matter how much he improves and gain experience would never beat Vitali. He may have a chance against Wlad though.

I'm not sold on him at all just yet, I think he has ok skills and good power. Average as far as todays Heavies go.

well since he TKO'ed Damian Wills in 2006 he has gone on a rampage, destroying several fellow prospects.

and Who else could Klitscko fight (besides a joke fight where Haye cashes out)?

    he wont fight his brother

chagave and valuev are tied up fighting to be undisputed minor league champion

Maskaev is in line for a WBC Mandatory

and Gomez is fighting his brother

That being said, I think Arreola is the best choice, and in my opinion, has the aggression and power that could cause wlad some problems.

Couldn't agree more. He can punch and that's about it.

Doesn't seem to be enough of an athlete to me. Bit of a chunky fella who can punch if you allow him enough of a shot. Won't cut it against Wlad or Vitali IMO.

Im not to sure if he deserves it but on paper i think he is the best option im sure every boxing fan would rather see Wlad v Arreola rather than say someone like Mccline or another old name who is shit, if this fight happens i will be quite pleased.

I would agree that Arreola is the best American HW right now and would be the fighter I would like to see Wlad face next if Haye doesnt work out. That being said I doubt Arreola lasts 5 rounds with the Steelhammer. I mean Wlad always comes in prepared and in tip top shape and Arreola doesnt.....

Couple that with the fact that Wlad is more experienced, bigger, more powerful, techinically sound, patient.....Wait, Wlad KO3...

Just shows how sorry the american prospects are right now......Young athletes would rather focus on the NFL.

I wonder if the fact that Wlad was KO'ed by Sanders actually hurts the opponents that come in to face him......They get a false sense of hope that Wlad has a weak chin and all they have to do is land one shot (and maybe dont prepare fully) when in reality Wlad is a different fighter and is much harder to get to...

If Chambers beats Peter, he will righlty lay claim to being the best American heavyweight in my opinion. While Fast Eddie is not exactly svelt, Chris is a slob.

Arreola has been beating solid young boxers for a few years now, plus he's got something that no other American HW prospects have a personality.

His rating has to do with the state of the Heavyweight division and not with him...

I like him. Of course he deserves a title shot simply becuase in boxing the guys who get the shots are the guys who can sell tickets and make money.

It's not a meritocracy and never will be. Boxing is and has always been about people fighting each other and who the baying public wants to see fight each other.

I can't think of many fighters I'd rather see the Klitschko's face than Arreola, seriously who else?

Who is worked up about this Vlad Gonzalez fight next week? I don't give a shit we already know it will be a routine win for Vitali.

Who cared about Wlad and Ibragimov, or Ray Austin?

If they fight Chagaev, Povetkin, Dimitrenko etc what kind of excitement are we going to see there?

Arreola comes to fight and he will have a go. Plus he's American and for boxing to be entertaining America has to be involved. When was the last time the world gathered round to watch Sauerland put on a spectacular German PPV?

I want to see this fight.

He should fight Haye. Problem is Haye would never, ever fight him. Arreola would destroy him
