Default Choosing Barerra over patriotism tonight?

Seems to be the general consensus that pretty much everyone here either wants or thinks Barerra will win, there's no prob with that, I just find it one of those odd fights when patriotism fails.

Sure he's got the glass chin, which is not his fault at all, and I feel kinda sorry for him having not known that limitation earlier.

I don't think Khan deserves this shot at all, but I'll still be rooting for him, and I think he can win. If I was in his place and was told by my promoter I could face Marco even after a disastrous KO loss and a "comeback" against floppy opposition, I'd take it with both hands.

Im a massive patriot and always have been...

But sometimes you just have to let your heart rule your head...

Many that`ll be roaring on barrera tonight will be doing so because of their complete disregard for amir khan and that dont sit too well with me as the guy got caught out once and exposed by a far superior fighter.

But the general concensous is that barrera will get the british support because of the fact he is recognised as an all time great that has had to earn his status the hard way unlike amir who has been able to feed off his olympic silver for 5years now.

Im choosing tonight to cheer on barrera not because i hate amir but because i love MAB and would love to see him become world champ at 135 before calling it a day

Barrera has been one of my favourites for so long. It would be wrong to back against him. I really hope he can put it all together and show us something great here.

I agree with the fact that Barerra is a nice guy and I've loved watching some of his fights, and it would be a shame for such a legend to bow out to someone who is, in most people's eyes, undeserving of this shot.

I've had my doubts about Amir lately, and although he's had his criticisms I can't help but want him to win. I've loved watching his handspeed and accurate combo's and I'd be gutted if he lost resoundingly in this and it was his last fight, so for that reason I'm goin for Khan. But no matter who wins I'd see the decline of either loser a loss to boxing.

I'll be supporting Barrera, but won't be overly dissappointed if Khan wins.
