Jeezarse, that was a nasty cut .No doubt in my mind that Barrera will continue on in career, have not seen the fight but you can almost see the frustration on him walking back to his corner in the Khan raising his hand pic.Did Khan really go 'overboard' with celebration...giving the circumstances??

Side note, would you look at Barreras arms, damn.Pumped up big time

It was a big cut. Watching on the stream it looked bad, but these photos show it much more clearly. Khan fought well, but he was fighting a handicapped Barrera. I really think it would have been different had Khan not got that break.

You could see good close up images of the cut during the cutwork and it was like a flesh wound, seriously bad open gash rather than a cut. Amir must have a razorlike brow!

It was exactly like Chavez - Oscar only difference was Oscar cut Chavez with punches . Khan did it with his head so IMO a headbutt intentional or not should not be a Khan win.

Barrera was hardone by being made to box 5 rounds with a cut just so Khan can be called a winner instead of an NC. I hope a return doesnt happen cuz Barrera looked small in there . Khan should fight Prescott again . Same size, same stage in career etc.

It was a massive cut and there was nothing his corner men could do about it, it wasnt just bleedin it was pissin the stuff out.

Technically Barrera lost the fight but to all of us that was nothing more than a None Contest.

Personally i think hed of lost anyway but we just dont know. How frustrating.

lets get this clear, NOBODY force MAB to continue fighting, he did so cause he's a warrior and he felt that he could rise above the complications, but he's not what he once was and Khan took advantage of what was presented in front of him, like i said MAB has no one to blame for losing the fight, he could of done the smart thing and manned up and acknowledged the fact that he couldn't see and he wasn't going to perform at the best of his limited abilities at this point, but he chose to listen to his pride and well mix it up one eyed against the younger, bigger, and quicker fighter, dumb move by Barrera, the way i see it, no one should discredit Khan's win completely cause like i've said in various threads he did show improvement, but no one should blow the win up to something that it isn't which is a huge victory and boost to Khans career

I dont view that as a Khan win though . Had the cut been casued by a punch then fair enough but a headbutt should have bought conclusion to teh fight as it was effectivley over in the first . It went 5 so they could label Khan as the winner. He didnt beat Mab though .he isnt good enough

Khan did a few things that were blatantly dirty, and not really necesserry seeing as Barrera couldnt get going because of the cut.

Barrera landed a left hook, Khan jumped in and held then as he pulled away he pushed the top of his head in to Barreras face, seeing as hes 4 inches taller he really had to try to do it.

Whithout the cut Barrera would have been able to do more, which would have kept Khan on the run, Marco would have deffinitly come on during the fight.

Your logic doesn't make sense at all.

Horrible cut, I wonder what would have happened if it weren't for the cut.
