Too Bad Sergio is going to ruin this.
Pavlik-Abraham to happen in Oct.-Nov.
If it does happen, it's about time. I think we've all been waiting for this long enough.

I'm not a Kelly Pavlik fan at all, but this should be a really close fight. I am excited!

This will be certainly awesome, I can’t wait for it !!!
Finally! We will be able to determine who the king at Middleweight is.
Hopefully this comes together. My prediction: Abraham barely makes weight, comes in listless and gets knocked out in 5. I wish we could've seen this fight sooner.
If Abraham comes in 100%, I give him a very good chance of beating Pavlik. However, if he just covers up and lets Pavlik wail away on him as he is prone to doing, he's fucked.
So. the fall of pavlik in middlewieght will come in the hands of king arthur.
i like pavlik cause hes american, i dont want arthur to win cause if he does win, we will be seeing some awful ppv's aboard headling arthur
im too used to HBO.....lets go pavlik
mind over speed and power
I give the edge to Pavlik , I believe if he stands and trades with King Artur it could be a pick em slugfest and would probably boil down to heart .
I think Pavlik has the better array of skills he likes to work of that shortened jaband picks the lead left hook cum uppercut , I dont think he will get out foxed like he did against Hopkins even though Abraham is essentially a counter puncher
Abraham is a counter puncher , he fights in the pocket and is not the swarming aggresor most fans seem to think he is , he often boxs himself into the groove and is bullishly strong . He does have a few weaknesses he throws alot of wide punches and tends to fight in spurts against the more persistent Pavlik that could be his undoing .
Glad to see this fight will hopefully get made. The shame is that in all likelihood, Abraham will come in weight-drained and Pavlik will take advantage. Like CFH says, if Abraham comes in 100% then I'd fancy him to take Pavlik apart, possibly knocking him out in the later rounds as Pavlik tires.
If Abraham fights like he did the other week and Pavlik fights like he did against B-Hop their shiteness might cancel eachother out.
On the other hand it could be exciting. Just a shame it didn't happen earlier when Pavlik was unbeaten and while Arthur was looking good.
Personally think Pavlik will batter him if Abraham struggles with the weight. If all is equal i'd either go for Pavlik on points or Abraham stoppage.
The fight wont be on PPV because of kelle sauerland insisting he wrap AA up in cotton whool by keeping him in germany.
Had Abraham of headlined 2-3 cards in the US this would be huge business right now and at least double the financial interest as what they`ll get.
At least though finally AA`s team are showing the initiative and getting him over to america which indicates the likelihood of this taking place to be rather good
one dangerous horrible bloke
I'm as critical about Abraham's opposition as anyone, but who was he supposed to headline against in America? There are no marquee fighters at 160, aside from Pavlik, and I can't see HBO being interested in promoting a Abraham-Simon/Abraham-Demers type bout.
He came over and headlined against Miranda, in Miranda's backyard, granting a rematch because of a controversial fight. That was pretty much the only name fighter he could get which would drum up any interest in the States and even that had to be at a catch-weight. There are few to no viable "headlining" options for Abraham in the States. It makes perfect sense that he would stay in Germany unless it was for a big fight, rather than be an undercard fighter in America for comparatively small amounts of money.
