If this fight is made, it will probably be PPV and have MMA and Pro Wrestling on the undercard.

I think Lacy is genuinely a good guy, and I'm happy he would be getting a payday, but....................it's all been said about Lacy before, I don't need to bring it up again.

Are you sure this would be at 168, I thought Lacy's last fight was at 175.
RJJ, it taking advantage of a name here in Lacy, why not I guess. He needs a win against a name to justify staying in boxing.

Can't say I'd go out of my way to watch Lacy ever fight again.

Good matchup, what's wrong with people. Two fighters don't need to be the world's best to make for an entertaining scrap.

Ok so neither is going to be force on the world stage again but I'm certainly intrigued as to how this would go down.

    Very entertaining fight imo.

I'm with Bilbo, Roy still has the skills to give Lacy a hard time, Lacy's always had KO power, would be interesting. RJJ by UD

Both fighters should retire really. But if they are going to fight then why not against each other? Is Jones Jr. trying to go through the Calzaghe back catalogue now?

Jones by stoppage or points decision. His speed would befuddle Lacy who just cannot seem to get his punches off very well anymore.

I think both fighters should retire Jones especially but I'd like to see it. Hopkins might not fight for up to a year after fighting Adamek and Jones needs to do something to fill in the time. I think he wins easily. It'd sell a lot of tickets in Florida.

Roy weighed in at 169 against Trinidad.

I think RJJ would pepper Lacy with power shots, Jones still has better speed and reflexes than alot of good fighters. Lacy has never been stopped and take shots pretty well.

I would say RJJ by decision.

The problem is I dont think Jones should be taking anymore shots to the head. It just seems like something bad is going to happen. Lacy has decent power and throws wild hayemakers and if they land could cause problems....

I imagine this would be a pretty good seller in Florida.

Why not, neither guy seems to be able to compete on an elite level anymore, so fight each other, it would be a fairly big Florida fight, and there's some intrigue there.

Off the JT fight, I'd say Lacey is done. I'd enjoy watching Roy ice him with a pot shot and getting him off the scene. Nice kid, but his elevetor is going down and he needs to get off it.

Nothing to do with the thread and sorry to the starter of the thread but how do you insert a pic under usernames?

....this would be a fight just for the sake of having one. The winner of this fight should be given the opportunity to walk through the retirment door five minutes after the looser. I'd rather waste my money watching khan or chavez fight on ppv not that we are talking about fights that have no sense being on ppv in the first place.

I guess so... seeing he has very little risk. But beating has-beens or nobodies is damaging on the legacy. I love RJJ but I wish he would just retire.
