Default Jabs that don't get enough credit

You guys can list more if you want, but these guys have great jabs, but they are known for other tools.

Hearns: his jab can rock back heads, but he was always known for his right cross and its ability to knock heads off.

Miguel Cotto: Great jab really controls the tempo of a fight, but once again because he is such a great left hook artist especially to the body it doesn't get the credit it deserves.

Pernell Whitaker: obviously known for his defensive wizardry, his jab was like a spear, it was amazing to watch, he really got good power behind it.

Marvin Hagler: If Whitaker's jab was a spear, then Marvelous Marv's jab would be a battering ram, his jab was what most right crosses wished they were, it was quick, but it landed like a cross and because it was his jab he could counter with it at times no cross would have been able to have been thrown.

Floyd Mayweather Jr: Often accused of not having a jab, well he landed almost twice as many jabs as Oscar did against him. He has the best jab to the body I've ever seen, and he is the one amazingly fast fighter I've seen who doesn't flick the jab, his jab makes a b-line he gets his whole body behind it, especially to the body, it was great to watch in his natural weightclasses.

Sonny Liston: Wow his jab was a battering ram like Hagler's and it was fun to watch.

Foreman: same thing he always landed his jab effectively, IMO it was his best punch and when he came back after retirement it was a deadly tool, and it landed a lot on Holyfield.

Feel free to name other big name fighters with a jab that never got its just reward.

One name LARRY HOLMES. The greatest jab of all time IMO. He threw a nice quick one to keep you off balance and a jarring jab that could do some damage. Especially when he doubled it up.

Larry Holmes doesn't go under the radar for his jab.

I am talking about guys excluding people like Ali, Quartey, Louis, Wright, De La Hoya, Holmes, Leonard, Lewis, Wladimir Klitschko, etc... Guys who don't get the recognition for their jab that they should.

hagler and duran both had great jabs but because they were come forward aggressive fighters people missed the fact they both could really box and had great jabs!

Duran did not have a powerful jab, really. Duran changed a lot throughout his career, but his jab was always a measuring stick for landing the right hand.

Can't believe nobody mentioned Lennox Lewis. His fights are so boring, but had a sick jab. countered with it, led with it, lived by it.

Let's not overlook the Klitschkos either.

Good call on Liston. He's got one of the best jabs IMO. he could push you out of the way with it. I like his fight with with Cleveland williams, Cleveland is up for it and Liston just sticks the jab hard keeps it all under control.

For the smaller guys I think Junior Jones had argueably the best jab ever.
Fast, precise and could throw it in 2 ways.
As a hard power jab or a in your face/set up jab.

That's a great one. I think he really befuddled Barrera at times, and in fact Barrera has a really good jab, I was really impressed with it against Marquez and Juarez.
