was just checking this years boxing schedule so far and found this

SATURDAY - at Austin, Texas (HBO PPV) -

(46-3, 40 KOs); 12 rounds, lightweights:
Joel Casamayor (36-4-1, 22 KOs) vs.
Vicente Escobedo (19-1, 12 KOs); 10 rounds,
lightweights: Jesus Chavez (44-4, 30 KOs) vs.
Michael Katsidis (24-2, 20 KOs); 10 rounds,
lightweights: Jorge Rodrigo Barrios (47-4-1, 34 KOs)
vs. Carlos Hernandez (43-7-1, 24 KOs).
we already know about this fight but i'm hoping this is a typo....

Friday, April 10 - at Cabazon, California (ESPN2) -
12 rounds, lightweights: Julio Diaz (36-4, 26 KOs)
vs. Michael Katsidis (24-2, 20 KOs).
not even a week later and has a fight scheduled wtf

That can't be right, Katsidis on his facebook page has only mentioned fighting Chavez.

i mean it's just that there is no way it could be possible, and don't get me Katsidis vs Julio Diaz sounds like a good fight, but that short of a time period in between, doesn't make sense

It's almost sure now that Katsidis and Julio Diaz will be fighting separate opponents on April 4, so that April 10 schedule is a mistake... an error... No way they will fight again in 6 days!!

That April 4 schedule is full of mistakes... Casamayor and Barrios already pulled out (due to injuries) from that April 4 "Lightweight Lightning" card... That card now downgraded to "Lightweight Downpour"...

Typo. Otherwise it would be a "Death Match."

There's no way Katsidis would be able to fight 6 days later. His cuts wouldn't heal in time to fight Diaz, but I hope those two do fight this year in a few months. That would be a very good fight.
