Default What do you think Oscar de la hoya do?

I think he should have one more fight because i think every fighter should retire on a win. I think he just messed up on the weight when he fought pacquiao. In my opinion he should have a fight at middleweight against Julio ceasor chavez jr because it would be a good fight and a definate win.

it's not just a case of messing the weight up and moving on though

Physically it won't have done him any favours and mentally it definetly won't have

I think it may have ruined him now

The retiring on a win excuse being used by Ali against Berbick, hopefully de la Hoya is not so silly. In a honest fight, there is no such thing as a definite win, even for Oscar against Lil Chavez.....

It is rightly his choice, and I suspect he probably still has enough to compete at a fair level even in his mid 30s, but I personally would like to see de la Hoya go in other directions in the sport and carry on with his promoting, where he can make the Dollars without necessarily taking the punches.

Yeah. Give JCC Jr a chance to avenge his dad.

Hatton would be doing the smashing. It wouldn't even be close it would be like Hatton fighting Jose Luis Castillo again...difference is it might end quicker.

Anyway, I think De La Hoya should move up to 154 and fight JCC Jr. that would be a fun one to watch just because of the names and because De La Hoya would be able to fight and not starve himself to death.

He didn't coward out he just wanted to chill some more. If De La Hoya beat Pacquiao we would be talking about the upcoming Hatton-De La Hoya fight.

"Chill"? You mean the nights he was crying in bed after the PBF lost? Hatton said that in Pac-Hat 24/7.

LOL So you really think De La Hoya, that statue that Pacquiao fought would beat Hatton? LOL Ok that is your opinion, but I wish they would fight It would be the first fight in a long time where I really wouldn't be all that nervous.

If ODLH was as weight drained as he was against Pacman then Hatton would beat him handily... 140lbs Hatton would probably overhelm him because it's clear that he is too old to do the weight anymore... anything other than that and I dunno... though I fear Oscar is shot now anyways.
