Default Call outs and shut outs

On various threads we read about champions who have fought everyone put in from of them and of others who have hand picked their way to "greatness". Who in your opinions have been the bravest fighters for taking on all comers and who have been the worst for sidestepping the biggest threats.

Maybe its guilty reflection,as I used to yearn for the day he would be KO'd but....Pernell Whitaker. This man fought many, many toughies and was his biggest fan lol.Mcgirt x2,Nelson,JCC,Vasquez,unc Mayweather,Tito,Delahoya,Paez,Cardona,Rivera x2,Haugen,Rameriez x2,Pendleton...etc.

James Toney...I think he would fight his own momma if the money was right..or she looked at him cross.

I love Terry Norris, but he took alot of light touches and smaller fighters.Never would make that jump to Middle ?

Relevant for this week, Jermaine Taylor is a guy who fights anyone and everyone. JT never ducked anyone. I am not saying he is an all time great by any means but he has the heart of a champion and never took the easy way out IMO.....

Roy Jones, Mike Tyson, Floyd Mayweather - You could make a case they all didnt fight the best of their time, even though they were all great fighters.....

James Toney, Margarito, Mosely, Glenn JOhnson, Taylor.

Firat Arslan, Vadim Tokorev, and Jackson Bonsu could fight tougher opposition.

Lennox Lewis fought everyone there was to fight and avenged his losses,

Oscar De La Hoya fought everyone worth a pinch of salt

James Toney (already mentioned I know)

    Diego Corrales fought everyone willing

Jake LaMotta would fight you in a phone booth

Evander Holyfield was always ready to get in with who ever signed

Roberto Duran fought everyone there was

Roy Jones was never too eager to fight his biggest threats

The easy one is Ali. I mean check this

Foreman, Frazier x3, patterson, liston x2,holmes...buy any greatest heavyweights book and no doubt all those guys are in corresponding chapters.

But you got guys like duran, robinson,Lamatto who were just as fearless and took on all comers. DLH never shyed away from a fight..going to middleweight againt Bhop took balls/lack of common sense.

Holyfield,Frazier...so so many guys who would fight you if you were worth it. Frazier re-matching foreman took mad pride and courage after the beating he took.

Harry Greb and Ray Robinson stand out as the two greatest fighters with the best resumes names wise, but Roberto Duran was not a million miles behind them.
