Boxing Mission: 4 World Titles in 2 Weeks

Four of the cream of the crop in Philippine boxing takes on 4 world boxing title fights in a 2 weeks period from April 19 to May 2, 2009.

Two were already successful in doing so. Brian Viloria captured the IBF Light Flyweight title by knocking out former champion Ulisses Solis in the 11th round and Nonito Donaire Jr. retained his IBF/IBO Flyweight titles by knocking out Raul Martinez in the 4th round.

Next up is Gerry PeƱalosa who will challenge WBO Super Bantam champ Juan Manuel Lopez on April 25, 2009 in Puerto Rico.

The mission will culminate on May 2, 2009 when Manny Pacquiao challenges the Ring/IBO Light Welter champ Ricky Hatton in Las Vegas, USA.

4 world titles in 2 weeks seems very possible...

NOTE: This is a repost... Something nasty happened in the original thread... So boys and girls, please behave...

I believe Gerry can do that... As what I've seen in their latest presscon coverage, JuanMa is so uncomfortable infront of Gerry while Gerry is so cool and relaxed...

    Yeah.... keep telling yourself that.

Here's the picture and video... So far that's what I observed... Maybe you can tell me what you observed from both boxers... and maybe translate what JuanMa said...

Well... as near as I could tell... Juanma was saying: "...... and tell Saddoboxer not to worry.... I won't knock his guy out in the 1st round. No... it'll probably take me at least 3 rounds to do it."

Nahh... just kidding. They were both gracious and polite.

I'm guessing JuanMa was talking scared...
