Punch Power: 388 | | Manny Pacquiao +109 Now im not denying he is 100% P4P#1 and he has great boxing skills and has achieved so much in the sport i'm a big fan of him. But i was thinking to myself yesterday is he becoming a fighter in the right place at the right time what with the Oscar De la Hoya fight where Oscar was so weight drained they had to rehydrate him via Intravenus and then Ricky who fought face first and perhaps even though he fought well vs Paulie could have been on the decline. Now im not taking anything away from Pac as i say im a big fan it was just something i was thinking.

Punch Power: 138 | | Re: Manny Pacquiao +352 I get the same feelin. He is the number 1 fighter in the world at the moment but to me Ricky looked as though he had no resistance to the punches.
In his last few fights anything touching Ricky's chin has him wobblin all the over place.Take nothing away from Pac,cos damn i was 100% certain Hatton would win this maybe being blinded by some bias.
With the tlk of cotto i think Pac-man is gonna take a step up to far.
Taking on a much bigger fighter in his prime. It'll be like when Dela went up againt B-Hop...mite do ok but the difference in size will just be to much.

You can't deny Oscar was shot and Hatton's performance clearly needs to be quistioned. |

Keep going...
This will end up something like "Pac beat up another washed up fighter".
Unbelievable.

Unbelievable. | there is no denying that DLH was shot and weight drained, but IMO Hatton was still world class so there is no excuse, although he fought a stupid fight, that's his problem and is a fact not an excuse, Pacquiao dealt with it and knocked him out quick, no excuses or need to try and lessen his win, lets not forget Ricky was still #1 at 140, but honestly on the Cotto,Mosley, and Mayweather subject, if Manny wants to make the claim that he can even beat true welters he should HAVE to do it at 147 not at some catch weight, IMO Cotto, Mosley, and Mayweather at welter are all a step to far for Pacquiao |

Punch Power: 1782 | | Re: Manny Pacquiao Here is an interesting quote from Roach regarding Manny.
“He’s a different now than he was [when he lost to Morales],” Roach said. “He’s not that guy. He’s a different guy. If he fought Marquez right now, I guarantee you he’d knock him out in three rounds. I’m telling you. I know that’s a bold statement, but he’s a much better fighter than the guy who fought those guys. Something clicked inside of him. I can’t pinpoint it. He’s just a different guy.”

But what really gets me is the TS is really trying hard to build some sort effort to discredit Pac's victory against his fallen fighter. And what's really hillarious about it is he wants people here to buy his claim by saying he's now "a big fan of Manny". |
