    Default Matt Korobov

The Only Thing As Impessive As Pacs Power At 140, Was Korobov This Kid Looks Great.good Power ,speed, skills. The Only Concern Was In Watching His Fourth Fight, while He Fought Good And Scoerd A Knock Out In the Last 10 Seconds With A Monster Punch. At The End Of The 3rd He Looked A Bit Winded, Conditioning May Be A Place Hes Weak In Right Now.

Not a kid at 26, but he has been at the top of the amateurs for a very long time, I wish guys like Alexey Tishenko would come over and go pro as well... Russia has so much talent that could be successful as pro's in the lower weight classes.

With his massive Amateur background,I hope they step him up in competition.Very nice punch selection and seems a true puncher w/fast enough hands.Has those 'axe handle' chopping body shots, brutal. Will be looking for this one as he goes.

Undeniable power. But he's got a lot of technics to work on. He needs to move his head more. Not a bad prospect.

When we were watching the undercard with a few lads we discussed Korobov, and one of the main problems he may face is that he isn't exactly an attractive proposition.

If he really wants to make the big bucks, he's going to need to get a makeover and show more emotion if he's to really appeal to the masses. He's a bit typical of Russian exports, there's no doubt about his ability, and his power, even off the lead jab and hook were sensational, but perhaps a bit more out of the ring would make him marquee material.

Nothing not to like about Korobov he's obviously got all the tools to be a very good fighter, just kind of a wait and see proposition. Did anyone else laugh when Steward put Andy Lee in his and Jacob's league? I think they have him beat just on sheer physical ability.

His technique is better than 90% of the guys holding belts right now...

How so he's faster than Andy Lee and hits harder. Jacobs might have more power, but Jacobs doesn't have better technique nor is he significantly faster.

Maybe I'm sleep deprived.....but I'd make Jacobs/Korobov a 50/50.Very early in respected careers but Korobov strikes me as a equally hard one punch hitter and very strong.Jacobs is coming along nicely, finally met someone who would not fall over when attacked in Walker,he just looked uncertain in spots and catchable midway through. Both of these guys have been put on the express route to the big time. Will be fun!

I Respectfuly Say Jacobs Isnt A Real Contender And Will Be Found Out Quick Enough If He Aint Already In That Walker Fight .but Korobov Is The Real Deal.
