    Default Dawson-Tarver

Anyone the slightest bit interested in seeing this go down tommorow night?

id love to know the moron that came out of that dull, one sided 1st fight and decided it`d make a great rematch.

Even the undercard is tame and i get the feeling most of HBO`s telecast will focus on what happened in vegas last weekend rather than concentrating on this!!

I will watch it, but I'm not terribly excited about it.

I hope Tarver wins by 1st round knockout. However, this is unlikely to happen. Dawson will probably repeat what happened last time out, but I will be supporting the underdog because that's just the way I am!

Tarver apparently had an immediate rematch clause put into the first contract, and Dawson isn't wealthy enough to pay off the legal fee he would have got stuck with if he had walked away. Hope Dawson takes Tarver out this time.

Dawson wins this fight much the same way he won the first.

I can't stand Tarver and never could. Im hoping Dawson beats him in similar fashion the way he did the first fight if not better.

I would have rather seen a Dawson vs Glen Johnson rematch then this one, that would have been more warranted because the first fight could have gone either way.

I see Dawson winning again unless Tarver connects with something big.

I think there's an good chance Dawson gets a TKO win. I can already envision Tarver's trainer Buddy McGirt stopping the fight in the corner.

Boxings used car salesman in Tarver should lose by decision again. The only thing that makes it interesting is that he is undefeated in rematches and looks to be in better shape then the 1st fight.

I wondered why this rematch was actually happening but I guess someone already mentioned the contract . I thought that lightheavies just had to rematch automatically cuz thats what it seems.

Tarver is usually quite vocal in the build up to his fights but Ive heard nothing here . Its probably his last payday and he is going to slide into obscurity after this. Dawson will be expected to do a job this time roudn and end it quickly but I see Tarver being awkward enough to hang in there for a points defeat.

Why do some people not like Chad Dawson? He is exciting, goes to the body, has talent and toughness.

I think he's really exciting. Not to mention his hands are pretty damn fast.

I wish Tarver would go away already! His little logo hype for this fight is "I've never lost in a rematch". Well Tarver why dont you have a rematch with someone who's worth mentioning, like I dont know B-hop maybe The fact is that your a second rate fighter, a third rate actor and I hope you get knocked out in the first round! Why in the world this rematch was made is beyond me....

There is really no mystery here. Tarver will be dominated in a KO or wide UD easily by the younger superior fighter. Dawson will do it again but more convincingly.

There is nothing not to like. Dawson is a real talent and will be around the top of this division for a while. I think he needs a spotlight fight to get more fans behind him. Tarver & Johnson are great names, but names that have been beaten. I think it'll take a fight with someone like Hopkins, Pavlik or even a faded Roy Jones Jr. for the spotlight to truly shine on him. Being on HBO will help his cause.

Anyone know where I can find this fight tonight?
