zab sign with mayweather promotions, and hes going to fight on the undercard of mayweathers comeback.

#1 - why did mayweather sign zab when theres so much more talent out there

If Mayweather trains with Judah for Pacquiao, then I can't see him losing. He will learn how to avoid that speed in a left cross, and I can't see Manny beating him any other way.

Well it is not always that easy. Pac and Judah are totally different beasts. Pac gives far more angles and methods of delivering that left and seems to also like the right hook now.

It will help Floyd, as long as he does not start looking for that left only.

That right hook might land, but like fighting Cotto, you want to nullify that main weapon, the left hand. Manny throws it more offensively than Judah, but Judah throws it just as quick, and there are only so many angles you can throw a left cross from, and Judah actually throws it from most of them. I agree they are completely different beats, but its more the speed and the fact the left cross goes right between his guard that really gives Mayweather problems, and remember that Floyd only got caught when he was coming in against Judah, and Zab might be 1/10th the fighter Manny is but, but he is quicker off the line and he is a better counter puncher than Manny. Manny has a good right hook hook, but if you don't rush in or back away too much he doesn't land it with a ton of regularity, you won't see him landing it a ton in Pacquiao-Marquez or Pacquiao-Barrera II, even against Morales it isn't landed a whole lot except when he started taking over the fight and had Morales on the run.

Possible... Definitely PBF needs Judah in preparation for PAC...

Hope PBF will also get Paul Williams services just for the workrate and being southpaw too... At least we will see this match-up in sparring... Paul used to spar with Margacheato (and kicked Marg's ass too)...

Paul Williams has the worst range control I"ve ever seen for somebody that tall and fast, I think Mayweather would pick him apart, the guy can't deal wtih movement or counterpunching.

I don't think Zab's career was a bad career at all by any stretch.

The problem is by now he should have accomplished more.

It's not that his career was ruined, his career has been good, but his career doesn't match what his talent was.

When it comes down to that aspect of his career it is and always shall be Zab's fault.

But his career was never "ruined" he won another title at 140 and became undisputed champ at 147, thats not a bad career. It's just not what it should have been, him being one of the most underachieving talents in boxing is his own fault. He did well to bounce back after the Tszyu loss and become and undisputed champ, but then he fell right back into it right when he looked like he'd matured. and thats his fault.

Judah prior to Kosta fight was apparently the new Pernel Whittaker, so on that night he was exposed and has in all truth never been the same oh sorry apart from beating the HOF great Cory Spinks .

Zab has been beaton at everytime he has stepped up.

I like Zab, but he has failed when it counted. He always had the skill, but didnt always have the will and ultimately thats his biggest downfall. A+ skills, C- Mentality= B fighter.
