Dimitrenko-Chambers eliminator!!!

It’s now official. Unbeaten WBO #1 heavyweight Alexander “Sascha” Dimitrenko (29-0, 19 KOs) will fight in a WBO heavyweight eliminator on July 4 in the huge Color Line Arena in Hamburg, Germany. Dimitrenko will face the top available contender, WBO #5 rated “Fast” Eddie Chambers (34-1, 18 KOs), who is coming off a win over former WBC heavyweight king Sam Peter. “I’m glad that in our jubilee year we can offer this great fight between two world heavyweight championship candidates in Hamburg, our boxing hometown,” said Universum-Promoter Klaus-Peter Kohl. “This is really a duel between two heavyweights of the absolute top class!”

Should be interesting to see how Chamber's is after that victory over Peter. Will it be the next step or a fallback into oblivion like after the Povetkin fight.

If Chambers can handle the reach disadvantage he could win...

Bad move by Chambers, altough a good one for us fight fans . This is a good fight in the making to clear some stuff out in regards the top contenders. We know what Chambers brings, but havent seen too much form Dmitrenko. Still, its his home town, he has a good record and Chambers is a small Heavyweight. Chambers should lose at least 10 pounds, or even go to cruiser

Great match-up of rated heavies! Good to see Chambers taking fights that matter, the winner here is immediately a player so theres a lot on the line. I'd have to favor Dimitrenko over the distance but if Chambers lets his hands go things could be interesting!

If chambers is gonna be 100% genuine about becoming a heavyweight champ he needs to drop some serious bulk.

The peter fight was like too big lumps just taking turns hitting eachother and it was only chambers youth and ability to put in the odd punch and move that got him through that.

The Eddie Chambers that fought povetkin would be a nightmare for any heavyweight fighter out there!!
