I get them taken out on Friday, thanks for asking.

It still hurts like a biatch though!! It bruised all the way around to the otherside of my arm.
My girl Kathy sympathizes with you. She broke her kneecap and has been in a wheelchair for 6 weeks, and will be in one for probably another 6-8. Metal plate; 10 screws, bruising, swelling. Now I have to go shopping
Damn, sorry to hear about your girl, I didn't know that. I hope she is doing well considering everything.

I can sympathize with her somewhat, I didn't break my kneecap, but I have dislocated my right kneecap 5 times playing softball. I had to have surgery to clean up the mess in there.

Give her a warning, I'm assuming that she hasn't been able to bend her knee since it happened. If so, just let her know that when she goes to rehab, and the first time they have her bend it, it will be painful. I'm pretty pain tolerent, but bending my knee for the first time after not being able to for over 2 months, brought me to tears. They sat me on a table, took off my brace, and then told me to let it drop down slowly. It took me forever to do it.

Please give her my best wishes for a painfree recovery.
