There will be no Multiple fighters in different divisions. Like Jones Jr Middleweight and Heavyweight, Fighters will only be available in one weight class.

You can only fight fighters within two weight classes, No Heavies vs a Flyweight.

This is the only thing that I see negative about the game thus far.

Button Configurations will not be in the shipped version of the title but will be available for DLC some time shortly after the Title releases.

Thats not so terrible. The freedom would be good but it hardly kills the aura of the game. Everything I have heard has me so impressed and I love how it plays. I honestly cannot wait for this game to come out.

Is that 2 weight classes either way? So let's say with Mosley, can I fight only at Lightweight & Middleweight, or can I pitch him in against a feather or light-heavy?

Yep it's two weight classes either way. Too me none of this bothers me one bit becuase I will always be at heavyweight.

That's a disappointment, I enjoyed using lighter weights to fight against heavies. I've beaten Ali with Pacquiao, and even stopped a max-stats heavyweight with a featherweight. The AI better be kick ass to make up for this downside.

Don't really matter to me. It is kind of a bummer because James Toney is NOT a Heavyweight they should have him in his prime at Middleweight. So If that's the case, then that person on the IGN board is full of shit. He says that there are "updated" stats, and he also gives the list of fighters in weight their weight divisions and some fighters have an * on them meaning they can be used in different divisions.

You could also adjust the cpu's punch output, thus creating an artificial button smasher.

I wonder if this applies to Legacy mode, whereas you can no longer go up two weight divisions.

Does legacy mode have the moving up and down in weights of the previous game?

You cannot move down in weight but you could move 1 or 2 weight classes up in legacy mode
