Thread: Clottey was not robbed

the guy had all the momentum in a close fight, then he when Cotto got on his bicycle and boxed, dude could not or would not make the necessary adjustments. He did not win that fight nor was he robbed. If anything the brotha fought to a draw.

I tell you what though....he is one tough SOB, if he would have changed his strategy a bit, he would have won that fight hands down.

He's lucky Cotto suffered that cut or he wouldn't have won as many rounds as he did.

No he certainly wasn't robbed he let his foot off the gas in important rounds, once again he showed suspect stamina and a suspect mental game. Two big flaws which have been stopping him from being elite all these years. People always call close fights robberies right after the fight, they normally see sense a couple of days after the fight.

I had it 104-103 for Clottey. He was not robbed. It was a very close fight.

Thank you sir. I mean 114-113.

I had Cotto one round ahead, with the 10-8 round in the first.. don't see how many people could of had it differently, maybe some chose not to go for the 10-8 round in the first, since the KD was near the end.

Either way I don't think Clottey deserved to win.. Cotto was able to make good adjustments and make a solid comeback towards the end of the fight.

Infact, here's my scorecard, from a program I decided to write a while before the fight started.. I was bored.
