Default which of this fights would earn better in ppv and ticket sales?

pac vs cotto which is an exciting fight to watch because that's 2 of the most exciting fighters in the world right now. or..
pac vs pbf because it's the most anticipated fight between the past and current p4p#1.

I would have to say Cotto vs Pac will earn the best as its guaranteed to be a war, both fighters have the heart of a lion and and carry the weight of there countries on there shoulders. Both fighters give everything in the ring and always guarantee action.

its not even a competition to be honest

the common man doesn't know miguel cotto. more people know pbf and if they don't they will by fight night with his mouth.

pac vs pbf draws bigger #'s easily, people wanna see who the true p4p is

That is exactly right. Exactly. A more concise estimate of PPV numbers has never, ever been forumulated.

Pacquiaio - PBF and it's not ever close. That is the definition of a mega fight. Cotto isn't nearly as well known as Mayweather and a fight between him and Pacquiao just doesn't hold the same interest as a fight between two fo the best fighters... well, ever (to use the term "best" somewhat loosely).

Pac-Cotto would earn more because of the fan base. It will be similar to Pac-Hatton festivity without the stupid "hatton wonderland" singing.

Cotto's fanbase is nowhere near comparable to Hatton's.

Pac vs PBF would be the bigger fight. One of the main reasons why it will bigger then Cotto vs Pac is that PBF will be the bad guy again and alot of people want to see his mouth shut once and for all and I'm sure 24/7 will play it to a tee. Plus all the Mayweathers will be talking smack toward Freddy Roach again. Controversy sells and Pac vs Cotto will not have that because both are very humble fighters. The only reason that Cotto vs Pac would sell is because both have huge followings in there countries. And Pac vs PBF will place the best offense vs the best defense etc.

I can't believe this is even a debate?!

Pacquiao vs Mayweather would be the biggest fight, historically, since De La Hoya vs Trinidad.

Pac vs Cotto will probably provide the bigger thrills but Mayweather is WAY MORE mainstream than Cotto is.
