Why? He has a worse chin, he's smaller, slower, and IMO not quite as good technically. Even though Rafael has the better jab, his cross which IMO is more important isn't as good. |

No it would be over alot quicker , Rafael would get into a slugfest and knocked out. He always gets dragged into brawls when he should really be boxing.

Pound for pound Rafael hits harder than Juan. If Pacquiao were to trade with him, Pacquiao would get knocked out. Pacquiao has always been a sucker for the right hand. Rafael's right is the best in Boxing.

I agree with Taeth, it would have been a great fight but Raphael is more vulnurable both in getting hit and punch resistance than Juan Manuel.
Manny definitely wouldn't have had an easy night with him though had they fought a few years back at maybe featherweight or super bantam.
I think the only guys in recent years who could beat a prime Manny at superfeatherweight are Juan Manuel Marquez and Floyd Mayweather.
Marquez was never really beaten by Manny, both their fights could have gone either way but neither fighter proved superiority over each other. |

I agree with Bilbo, the only fighters of recent years I see beating Manny pound-for-pound are Marquez or Mayweather although I might add Hopkins to that |

He's been stopped once in recent years. And that was clearly a pre-mature stoppage against a p4p fighter. The losses early in his career can't be used against him cuz he's not the same fighter. Just like Pacquiao's early stoppage losses can't be used against him. Rafael can be hurt. I'm not saying he has the greatest chin. But to say he's not durable is typical stupidity coming from you. To say Rafael's right hand ain't all that shows how big of an idiot you really are. Pacquiao has looked greatly lately. But that's cuz he's been facing fighters incapable of hitting him.
