The one thing that sucks though, it looks like we will never see Abraham vs Pavlik.

Arum was never going to make that fight. Abraham is not popular enough for the public to demand it and there's a good chance he beats and/or knocks out Pavlik.

Kessler over Ward by close-ish UD.

Dirrell over Froch because both Ouma and Legion picked Froch.

Abraham with a brutal late stoppage over Taylor (who will be ahead on the cards at the time).

I just thought of something, if there are only 3 fights how do they determine who fights in the next round? 3 fighters going forwards only equals one fight which can be made...

Its some kind of point system. LOL how unlikely does this all seem. But seriously I think its like 3 for KO, two for a decision, something like that, they'll go through all the scheduled fights and pick the four semifinalists using that.

This is the tentative schedule, more tentative for the fights after the first round end.

1- Taylor-Abraham( Germany)

2- Kessler-Ward( US)

3- Dirrell - Froch( UK)

4- Abraham- Dirrell

5- Kessler-Froch

6- Ward-Taylor

7- Dirrell- Ward

8- Abraham- Froch

9- Kessler-Taylor

I have no idea who will win that fight to be honest. I just felt like being contrary. I've only seen Dirrell fight once. However, I'm not that impressed with Froch. That being said, I do think Froch will probably win if I'm being honest.

The round-robin format is stupid IMO.

Hmm, Kessler and Abraham don't fight on the tentative schedule.

Taylor and Froch have it tough, they both have to fight Kessler and Abraham. If Froch makes it through to the semifinals having to go through Dirrell, Kessler, and Abraham then I guess I'd have to be impressed.

It just seems like with that format, there are even more variables in play that could derail the whole project. I'd rather see an elimination-type event, with the winners and losers both fighting each other.
