Default Who to win super six?

Who do you think will win the super six tournament? Personaly i think Mikkel kessler will win or Arthur Abraham but it is based on points from fights so if AA gets a couple KO's he will most likely win.

The points just matter as to who advances, not who wins the final. The two people that advance to the final will fight each other and who wins that fight wins the tournament...

Like to have a look at the young Americans, but if I had to say now its between Kessler and Abraham.

Andre Ward. But what happens if Kessler loses his upcoming fight? is he thrown out of the tournament then?

I got Jermaine Taylor shocking everybody and taking it all. His career is up against the wall. Anything but a great showing and he's done. And I think he knows it. He'll pull it out

totally agree, i think hes been seriously overlooked for this tournament, hes a better fighter than all of them imo, its just his stamina issues that have caught up to him in fights, the thing is there issues that can be addressed and worked on,thats why i give him a chance still

Thats where your wrong bro, he's in good shape. Its more to do with him being too tight, and wasting alot of nervous energy. And that has always been the problem, he even gassed in a very slow pace fight with Bernard Hopkins.

So what does that tell you ? he's got some mental issues. Which i don't think can be corrected. He even went back to his old coach Pat Burns. And if he can't correct it i don't see how anyone can.

u could be right icb, either way there is definately some issue there with the stamina, wether its mental nervous energy hes expending or hes not training to the best of his ability and gassing to easily, he is still a dam good fighter tho, only jermaine taylor nos what the problem is, hope he sorts it tho

The best thing about this tournament is that you could ask six different people and get six different answers.

Try and imagine this tournament involving the best six in any other weight class and the result being so wide open as this.

It's insane, anyone can potentially win this and you can make great arguments for all of them.

As a testament to the sheer unpredictability of this event is that the guy seemingly with the least support on this forum, the great Frochster, is actually the bookies favourite to win the whole thing here in the UK.

And the rank outsider according to British bookies, Andre Dirrel, is quite heavily tipped to beat Froch in their first round match by a great many people on this site.

It's a great tournament and you really can't pick who is going to win any individual fight let alone the whole thing.

For the record, my first round picks are,

    Taylor points
    Froch KO
    Kessler points

He's got all the tools, except for maybe his defense at times. Is a bit leaky but he's got a fantastic jab, good speed, good power. And good skill sets but he's so frustrating especially if your a fan of his.

In reality he should of beat Kelly Pavlik x2, he's a class above him. And he for certain should of beaten Carl Froch, but his mental issues will always plague him IMO.

I agree, for similar reasons. JT's problems are physiological, in my mind. If he is not expected to win, he may feel less pressure and therefore be looser for the fights. I think he like W. K. expends a lot of nervous energy early in fights, and fades late. WK seems to have tamed this, I hope JT can.

In my opinion JT can train to go 100 rounds and still fade in the 9th if he feels pressure. Its almost not his fault.
