For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.
Congratulations to him. He is the best Featherweight & deserves the title.
I was getting heavily drunk throughout the undercard & hit a peak during this fight before calming down for the main event.
I didn't catch much apart from the final minute of the last round where it looked like Juarez almost had him out of there. SkySports had it 115-114 for John, so I was surprised that The Ring implied it wasn't that close.
How was the fight because I trust your opinions more than Jim Watt's or Dougie Fischer's?
* The reason this is here not the main board is like I say because I trust YOU guys opinions
I don't know how anyone could have had that fight that close. I had it 9-3 John and I felt I was being generous to Rocky. Juarez one of the mid rounds clearly and obviously the 12th was his. There were maybe 2 rounds that were debatable IMO.

yep solid performance by Chris John. workhorse-like.
Great performance from John! I had him winning 10 of the 12 rounds.
Congrates to him on winning our championship!!! When do we present him with our belt? I'll make the all expenses paid trip if no one else objects...
With guys like Vasquez, Rafa, Gonzalez & Luevano surrounding him; John has some great potential dance partners!
The Best There Is, The Best There Was, The Best There Ever Will Be
I watched the fight the other day. I had John clearly winning although I saw it as 116-112, I thought that Juarez was denied a bit of credit for some good work, although I suspect the vastly differing perspectives that we all got from the respective US & UK commentaries might have had an effect on how we all saw it.
Anyway much respect to John, who is a deserving champion. I'd like to see him fight Gamboa next.
