Default Audley no longer Fraudley .Simply Stunning

After his 3 wins over 3 novice British fighters ,Audley Harrison has surely proved to us all that he will clean up the HW division , what more evidence do we need.? I mean you may have WBO/WBA/IBF/WBC titles etc , but Audley Harrison is the -"PRIZEFIGHTER CHAMPION" .
This must mean he has the pulling power to demand the lions share of any future purses , with the likes of Vitali , Wlad , Valuev or even fellow Brit David Haye.
Its also fair to say Audley is probably the most exciting fighter in the HW division at the moment.

    Audley you proved us wrong.

Hahah, in my weaker moments I almost pity Audley and how his career ended up.

Well you can't fault him.. he showed he has the heart when in bad situations. It's all about confidence, he hasn't believed in himself for the last few years.. now that he's won prizefighter, who knows?

He did seem to listen to the good advice coming out of his corner, I thought he was gonna lose the 2nd fight as he just wasn't getting his shots off first in that first round.

Lets see how he gets on in his next couple fights, he'll prob end up fighting for the vacant British title

He did what was expected of him really after Danny Williams went out.Still to gun shy and he doesnt like pressure fighters for my liking.I wanna see Harrision in with Tyson Fury if he gets past Mcdermot.(how ever you spell it)

Perhaps he did fight his way out of trouble in the final fight, but that was trouble that none of the top 50 heavyweights would manage to get themselves into. Same old Audley, and same old Danny. Pretty entertining though.

Was strange - He won by throwing now more than 8 or 9 punches in the WHOLE tournament.

He has a decent left straight that saved him, especially in that last fight - He was getting a lesson until the knockout. Fair play to him though.

Back on the British merry go-round he goes.

Losing the first round and then scoring a second round knockout is hardly getting a lesson.

ideal for audley if you ask me and said right from the get go

the 3round contests genuinely suit the more athletic fighters over the bigger punchers as you dont neccesarily have to worry about knockdowns etc but just use your superior footwork, handspeed etc to beat your opponent.

Williams was always gonna struggle because he likes to assert himself in a fight which you just dont have time for in a 9minute contest!

You do realise there was around a dozen knockdowns and about 4 ko's last night right?

Even he must be thinking what has my career ended up like. No way did he think that 8 years in he would be fighting 3 rounders against domestic competition.

If the words tournament and winner werent attached to these three wins, they would be nothing more than an experienced fighter beating three far less experienced fighter. Its would be no surprise if the Yankees went 3-0 against a AAA team, this is no difference. He should have won and anything less would have been embarrasing.

I don't really think that's the case at all. In a knockout competition such as this anything can happen.

Most of the other Prizewinners had upset winners, and in any sport knockout competitions lead to massive upsets, Greece getting the European Cup Final anyone?

How many times have seen upsets in the FA Cup, with crappy clubs like Portsmouth and Cardiff reaching the finals.

Nothing is certain in such competitions and it's still an achievement to win.

He's nearly 38, coming off a loss and over a year out and the death of his brother, and he went straight into a one night 8 man competitions where anything could happen and he came through it unscathed, dropping all 3 opponents and finishing two.

    He did well.
