What was the worst job you ever had?

Mines was working on market stores in the cold winter, wearing layers of clothes, freezing my nuts off, waking at 4am getting home at 9pm and getting paid £10. Hard days.

Chicken slaughterhouse. It didn't pay "that" bad but cleaning chicken guts from the machines and shoveling drums of blood and wombsthat did spend 12 hours under the sun wasn't exactly what I call a place where I would want to end up my days.

Summertime job, 18years ago : disguised in a giant puppy (green bird called Coco l'oiseau) in a Six Flags attractions park...

Wearing that disguise for about 8-9 hours under 30° Celsius...

Paid : 12EUR/Day....

I was a chief PR man for Audley Harrison after he won gold in 2000 ,
pay was good but I mean the job was fucking impossible ,I was pissing in the wind from day 1 !
I left on bad terms , after I told Audley plain and simple he was a CUNT IN MY EYES AND ALWAYS WOULD BE IN THE PUBLIC EYES.
Audley was upset at my decision to leave and asked if i thought he would ever win a title , I responded in saying , well if they ever have a freak show with a load of novices , then you have a chance.

Mine was when I lived in Cardiff, and I was one of the guys who'd lay then remove the Millenium stadium pitch. Horrible job. Cutting turf into squares, putting it on pallets, putting on to a truck, repeat.

Two days later, load pallets on to truck from the storage warehouse, remove pallets, lay turf next to each other, repeat.

When I was 15 I got a part time job in a fruit and veg shop. I had to get up at an ungodly hour of the morning (perhaps 5am....not sure?) and work from about 6 until 8:30 and then make a mad dash for school. I was always worn out and always a few minutes late for school. It was mindnumbingly dull carrying boxes of potatoes and put apples on display. I was so desperate to earn money to buy new CD's I even started doing it on Saturday from dawn until dusk.

I think I was earning about 2 pounds and 25 pence an hour for that slavery. It seemed a lot at the time!

I delivered newspapers for over 2 years. Was tall for my age too, so most thought I was older then I was so got teased a lot. One customer kept accusing me of breaking his mailbox and even filed a police report. Was completely not true. All I ever did to the guy was roll my eyes when he paid me repeated in small change, right down to pennies, and never a tip.

This through 2 winters, with temps as cold as minus -45C. Often coming home with my earlobes hard like rocks, face red with frozen windburn. Chased by dogs. 1/2 my route was real elderly people who never tipped. They were nice though and I'd occasionally get stale cookies or hard candy.

Security Guard,no action that i wished for and boring and lonely as fook!Never again.It was a while ago like!I left on short noticed after their said i'll be working on Xmas and New Years day at normal rate of paid,i said NOOO FUCKING THANKS and that was that,thank fuck!

Total wank mate,it was about 8or9 years ago when i did this job and i only took the job on cos i was short of money for xmas as i had another job working at a factory that did'nt pay well either.Ohh mate i could really tell you some crazy arse stories about working as security gaurd at this piss taking firm.I could be her all day telling you some of the daft shit i did while on patrol.

Summer job when I was in High school decided to apply at the YMCA as a day camp counselor. I wanted to work with the tanagers but ended up getting stuck with 4 and 5 year old little crumb crunchers, talk about a pain in the ass. By time the summer was over I told myself I would never have any kids and I'm still on that wagon to this day lol.

ughh Subway for me. wasnt hard or anything just boring as hell cause nobody shows up after 10 and it closes at 12.

Freezer section of a waitrose warehouse. Especially on first day when i turned up in a t shirt not knowing it was the freezer section!
