I have an old Encyclopedia of Boxing from 1983, and in it it gives the measurements of all the HW champs up until then. One that sticks out though is Sonny Liston's fist, it measured a full 15", the only man that came close upto then was Carnera at 14 3/4 inches. The rest are a full inch behind at least and even big guys like John Tate are 2 inches behind!

Does anyone know if Sonny Liston still holds the record?

Ive seen him measured at 14 1/2 but not 15. 15" is one hell of a fist though!

George Foreman must be close. WHen Foreman was fighting Moorer the guardian or the times put a life size photo of Foremans hand in the paper and it was absolutely f***ing huge.

I think Foreman's fist was 13 1/2"

Just had a look at Foreman's and as of 1983 it hasd only been measured at 12" don't know if it had grown with him by the time he fought Moorer.
