Punch Power: 135 | | Re: What happen to Audley Harrison? He looked good as a boxer/puncher. Losing four fights is a major setback. I've never seen a fighter come back from that. I guess he's done. I have to agree with Lyle. He was over hyped. He was going to be the next Lennox Lewis. |

Audley went in the blink of an eye from saying "I will definently be World Champion" to "Someday I will be British Champion"....fucking sad pathetic bastard |

Punch Power: 135 | | Re: What happen to Audley Harrison? He has won his last 3 fights. On the other hand he was knocked cold by Michael Sprott who I never even heard of. When I saw him win the gold metal I just knew it was only a matter of time before he would win the HW title. Not the first time I got stuff wrong. |

Audley got found out horribly the night he fought williams. He simply didnt wanna trade punches and ended up having to simply accept that pro fighting wasnt gonna be for him.
Sadly he still attempts to mascarade himself as something he clearly isnt hence the clown like image that gets portrayed within the media.
Should of just quit the night sprott put him to sleep!!

Harrison's problem, basically was the olympics. His dream as an amateur was always Olympic gold, but he hung around for far too long in order to win it. You can't teach an old dog new tricks, and Audley didn't even turn pro until he was pushing 30, and shortly afterwards, seriously injured his rotator cuff while lifting weights for charity, which took away another 18 months of his pro career, as well as decreasing his abilities as a fighter. What made things a little bit worse, is that Audley wasn't short of confidence, and inspite mediocre performances, insisted he was gonna be 'the man'. Unfortunately, he was acutely deluded. |

I think the deal with Audley is that people should seriously question older fighters in the amateurs, it's easy to win a gold medal when you're 30 and you're fighting teenagers |

He recently won a tounament in the UK, and I believe gave the whole of his purse to charity. Although a kind hearted gesture, I hope he isn't thinking what I think he's thinking, because it aint gonna happen. |
