Ex-WBA and WBC cruiser champ Jean Marc Mormeck´s debut as heavyweight set for November 20 against Vinny Maddalone is postponed until December 17 after Mormeck was injured in training. If Maddalone remains as opponent appears to be an open question.
Hall of Fame promoter Mogens Palle and his company International Entertainment have scored what seems like a clean KO in court over the former owners of Danish network DK4 - a company that in turned had sued Palle.
DK4 claimed that what was delivered from Palle wasn´t good enough and also claimed rights to two Mikkel Kessler fights that went out on PPV and eventually they walked out on the contract. Palle then filed a lawsuit for breach of contract and won - the problem is that the company he sued is under administration and there are no money to collect.
Palle was awarded 30 million DKK, a good 4 million EUR but probably won´t get a dime out of it. Not even the legal representatives for Palle´s counterpart have been paid in full.
