wasnt hayes entire argument against the klitschkos that they dont try to finish fights?

and then he legitimately tries to go out and win a fight by landing 6-9 punches a rd?

Well, well, well.....not exactly the exciting, thrilling, KO he planned on was it? Well many congrats David Haye....prepare for your mandatory John Ruiz and hope that you can handle it

Money must talk (King was involved and must have had dibs on a Haye win) because I thought Haye posed his way to victory.. I had Valuev ahead by 3 points... Haye spent most of the fight running!

Pretty awful fight. It should have been a NC, due to the shocking lack in activity levels!

Fair play to Haye on getting the nod, but Valuev was not really beaten out there by any stretch of the imagination. He deserves a rematch, not that I will sit through it.

Yeah not quite what he promised and noto have hurt his right in round three. Still those words "and the new....." must feel pretty good to him.

Crap fight but the records will show he was a HW champion. Now lets see what he can come with next or will he be stripped for not being active enough.

Here's one for Lefty, who stuck by his man like Tammy Wynette

I had Haye winning 115-113. Either way close fight, no robbery.

Its brilliant to have a British Heavyweight champion again! I was quite surprised to see Valuev wobbled in the last round, but i wasn't overly confident Haye would get the decision, i didn't think he was working enough. Still, his tactics worked, and he showed he has the stamina to go the distance

For a British fighter to win in Germany on points by running away you've got to check out the power behind that fight. I think there are promoters behind that fight that saw that the money to be made for themselves on future matches against smaller fighters (John Ruiz, Don?) would be much greater if David got the nod!

Clear your diaries because Haye will fight the Klitschko's in 2013, after he's taken care of the real cream of the heavyweight crop like Ruiz, Rahman, Botha, Oquendo, etc....

I had Valuev up by 2 rounds.. was really suprised that Haye got the nod. Haye looked pretty bad, but in all fairness it's hard to look good against someone as awkward as Valuev..

Hopefully we see Haye in a real slugfest in his next fight to make up for this one.

It is a boxing fight. The winner is the person who lands punches...not someone who misses 90% of the time. Haye deserved the nod if you are scoring a BOXING match!
