    Default Haye is everywhere!!

I'm a bit shocked as to how popular Haye's win actually is. I mean I've been in Asda and he's on the front page of newspapers 2 days after the fight, he has just been on Radio 1's newsbeat, He has been on the television landing back at Stansted airport, both football matches on Sky yetserday mentioned his win constantly.

This all from a guy who 12 months ago your average guy on the street probably wouldn't have even known. I am really happy for both Haye and the sport of Boxing, it is by far the greatest sport on earth but with little interest in the Heavyweights recently it has lost a lot of appeal for the casual fan. Love him or hate him, if your a boxing fan he has certainly put boxing back on the map.

Ricky Hatton was very popular here yes, but not even he had this kind of coverage after the Tszyu fight, this is like when Lennox beat Holyfield to become undisputed champ. Just make's me wonder what it will be like when he KO's Wlad??

I find it laughable really. Holyfield, Ruiz and Chagaev all beat Valuev as well or better than Haye.

Valuev has only fought four fighters of any note, lost to all and Haye probably did the worst.

All he demonstrated is he's roughly at the same level as an almost 50 year old Evander and John Ruiz.

That ridiculous statement will be rubbished when he KO's Ruiz!

    Of Course he is!!

He's just won the heavyweight title by beating a 7 foot freak in only his 3rd Heavyweight fight

Good looking fella with bags of Charisma and plenty of attitude.

Trust me he's a genuinely lovely fella to talk to with a wicked sense of humour and he's a down to earth type of fella who will fight anyone in the division and wouldn't dream of ducking anyone either.

Plus he unified the Cruiserweight title ABROAD after being knocked down and shaken and still got off his ass and got the stoppage.

The Heavyweight division (And Boxing) was desperate for Haye so we should celebrate him.

Over HALF A BILLION PEOPLE globally tuned in for a recent UFC title fight so yeah boxing does need some characters sharpish before it gets anymore swallowed up by men in pants rolling round in weird positions on the floor claiming to be fighters.

Any true fight fan should celebrate Haye and what he's achieved in 24 odd fights and enjoy the future he can bring to a division thats been utter shite since Lennox retired.

Well we will soon find out if he is at the same level as John Ruiz and I would bet you any money you want he makes Ruiz look silly.

Smash everyone is celebrating in one way or another. The fans are chuffed to bits and cant wait for him to fight someone a bit smaller so the sparks can fly, the ones who hate him cant wait for him to fight the Klitschko's to get smashed up.

Bilbo can also take his man lust for Haye up a notch without sounding too obvious.

Bilbo it was Hayes 3rd fight at Heavyweight...

He was up for a tear up with Wlad and instead was "Forced" into a Giant.

Huge Risk as he could have just fought a few more Barrets then stepped it up.

With that it mind i'm baffled your not remotely impressed.

Valuev will make anyone look shit and Haye did what he needed to do and for once used his loaf.

I think Haye should be celebrated forsure, but it does remind me of the England National side a tad. Win a few games and be hailed as the next winner of the world cup. Now if we put the world cup into boxing context, say beating either of the Klits, I would say we fall short again.

Hell, despite this i'm excited as hell for the guy. Although to be honest, nothing but a smashing KO over Ruiz will do, otherwise he won't really add anything to his record, RJJ did it with ease over twelve. Heres to hoping that there are some great nights of Haye smashin up some heavies and not dancing around too much.

So going off your theory, that Mayweather is around about the same level as Cory Spinks and is inferior to Miguel Cotto, Kosta Tszyu and Joshua Clottey as they all beat Zab Judah in better fashion

Yes I readily admit I am blinded by hate, I just cannot give this man any credit whatsover.

I don't think he gets past Ruiz though, that's a big ask for him based on what we have seen in his career so far.

I am happy to take sig bets when the day comes.

Are you saying he often refers to his "Buff Body" in a sexual manor?

Mayweather beat Judah much better than Spinks did. Spinks was ko'd in the second fight and only barely survived the 12th round in the first.

As for Floyd against Cotto, Tszyu and Clottey we wouldn't know because Floyd doesn't fight people in the same weight class as him.

Lol Haye had Valuev wobbled in the 12th aswell , something Ruiz Chagaev or Holyfield didnt do so does that not count in your theory??
