Punch Power: 454 | | Hatton wants Cotto if he beats Pac +990 Ricky Hatton would not turn down a fight with Miguel Cotto | The Sun |Sport|Boxing
Ricky please you are deluded, if anything he has a better chance of meeting Cotto if he lost.
Hatton is obsesses with the p4p title but doesnt seem to know how it works, for me if Cotto wins Mayweather is no.1 not Cotto.

Punch Power: 2063 | | Re: Hatton wants Cotto if he beats Pac Oh dear, oh dear. Did Hatton really say all that?
I have no issues with Hatton coming back, but to consider fighting Cotto at what would be WW and coming off of a very humiliating loss, would probably not be a very good idea.
I didn't see Pac being particularly hurt against Hatton either. I wonder if Hatton has actually sat down and watched the fight properly at all yet.

Hatton also last stated he was dominating the 2nd round till he was knocked out? The man has took one to many blows if you ask me. |

I'm sure I heard somewhere that Pac admitted to getting caught in the second, but that doesn't really equate with being hurt twice. My interpretation of hurt is someone who is in trouble and Pac was at no point in any serious trouble.
I heard the Hatton comments about the second round too. He was being outlanded big time though, no way he won the round. He has some some memory loss possibly induced by the knockout. He should really sit down and watch it. |

Got caught in the second that seemed to hurt him, unfortunately for ricky he wasnt hurt enough!
Agree with miles completely on this one, no probs with a hatton comeback but to throw himself in with cotto would be career suicide

Punch Power: 429 | | Re: Hatton wants Cotto if he beats Pac IMO , is better for Hatton to surpass his last 2 devastating KO that he got , before facing with an ooponent that can destroy him for his entire career .......

I understand you support your boy but Hatton would never last 12 rounds against Cotto. Not anymore.

Cotto-hatton would go 12 | I don't think either is a knockout puncher, they are both types who win with an accumulation of damage. Hatton showed the worst kinds of vulnerabilites I have seen in a megafight and it showed horribly. Cotto hits harder than Manny Pac. |

manny pacquiao is your classic example of a knockout puncher
The guy fights in bursts and throws bombs. He can be inactive for 2-3rounds at a time but you can never take your eye of the ball because the punches he does throw are so accurate and powerful.
Cotto is the complete opposite. He uses a strategy to wear an opponent down just like hatton
Im gonna reserve my opinion on this till sunday morning. Cottos been on the slide ever since margarito and many are already under the suspiscion mannys about to beat up another shot fighter! |

I see Cotto beating Hatton don't get me wrong but I think it would go further than the Pac fight and i'd probably go for late KO or UD mayself. |

Cottos been on the slide ever since margarito and many are already under the suspiscion mannys about to beat up another shot fighter! | I don't think Pac knocks people out. Apart from Hatton he hasn't done that. Even Morales/Pac 3 was a case of Morales being a man starved of weight admitting that there was just no point getting up. Pacs speed was the problem and not the power.
DLH took a long time before eventually quitting on his bench
Diaz several rounds or so too before the end
Marquez, just wasn't staying down
Barrera no knockdowns in sight second time out
I don't think Pac is a knockout artist, it's his speed more than anything that just surprises people. Hatton was just so off his game that it made Manny look like a power punching monster. |

Punch Power: 154 | | Re: Hatton wants Cotto if he beats Pac It really hurt seeing Hatton knocked out by Floyd, it hurt even more the way Manny humiliated Ricky with two knockdowns and a ko, I just don't want to see Ricky beaten to a pulp by Cotto, Hatton should just concentrate on the promoting and feel lucky that he still has his marbles intact, its such a shame when you defend with your face your career comes to an end a lot quicker than you and your fans like. | |
