I only say this because imo i see Paul smashing him and after Manny beat 3 of my favourite boxers (ODLH, Hatton, Cotto) i just hate the guy

Records are for DJ's - Dan 'The outlaw' Hardy
He's already said he's no longer moving up in weight - WW is as far as he'll go!
I think William's size and reach will be too much to ask of the wee man, give him some credit!
seriously i think manny could beat paul williams, there is nothing the man cant do it seems
Normally i would say thats one step too far but with Pacquiao too far doesn't exist.
Joking aside, that fight would be a joke, Williams is simply too big for Pacquiao to deal with.
I know it wasn't really serious but I'm pretty sure Williams is done with 147. Not that they'd make the fight anyway.
I really like Paul and Manny, but imo Paul has no business at welter. Manny should never take this fight because it doesn't make sense. I hope Paul stays fighting people his own size.
Are you serious? Paul Williams has a reach advantage that most H.W. don't possess. It makes absolutely no sense for Williams to come down to 145lbs. O.D.L.H. turned into a 'business man' (amongst other things, and I'm not including his penchant for cross-dressing and wearing pumps), and was well past his prime when he was delusional enough to step in the ring with Pacquiao. As for Cotto, who should only have one loss on his record, as the Margarito fight was insanely suspicious, gave his all against a PHENOM...yes, that's right, a PHENOM.
As for Hatton: he was always an overrated boxer. Even Roach, who knows the sport better than anyone on this board, said that Hatton really wasn't much of a champion and really wasn't very good.
I don't understand how someone could "hate" such a humble, like-able character such as Manny.
However, seeing you have Haye included in your signature - unless I'm missing something and you're being silly - indicates that a strong sense of Nationalism is at play. Well, don't break out your St. George yet, mate. Unless Haye gets a lucrative contract to defend against geriatrics patients, that quiffs reign will last as long as Hatton did in the second round against Pac-Man.
Yea, that's not going to happen. Pacquiao is fighting a weight class above where he should be at 140lbs. Paul Williams never belonged at 147lbs anyway. So the two meeting in the middle would be an even bigger dream than when he met Dela Hoya. A more realistic match for Paul would be Mayweather but that's just a another dream.
Paul is not only too big but too strong and he's a growing fighter and that means no looking back.
After hearing that Pac had to eat like 9500 calories to maintain his weight with his training regime, it seems it would be an incredible strain and stretch on his body JUST to get to that sort of weight to be competitive at 154..... If he did fight someone there, which I mean, I can point out a bunch of fighters there i'd give him a chance against, then he'd probably be weighing in at 148 to 149 MAX to still be healthy...
It would just be a silly fight for him to fight Paul Williams.. Floyd is his opponent that his legacy now calls for.. Then maybe a Mosley.. I don't think a Paul Williams factors in at all......
Oh boy the way, Sorry to hear Pac beat all your favourite fighters.. I feel horrible about that..
