Just seen the clip of it

Basically him saying that pacquiao doesnt want to fight him, believes he would knock pac out because of the fact its been done before and that he`d run rings around him all night

to be fair he has a point. PBF is a better boxer than JMM. JMM gave pac all kinds of trouble. Both PBF and JMM are better technically than Cotto.

People seem to think because Hatton shared a ring with Floyd and lasted a few rounds that means Pac will be able to take him apart.

To be fair?? - Pacs critics/haters/or non-believers come up with multiple reasons why Pac will lose this fight, Pac will lose that fight... over and over i hear Pac will get man handled, and yet again Pac destroys his opposition. JMM (135 and lighter) was tailor made for Pacs style years ago, JMM is brilliant against southpaws and adjusted to everything Pac had to offer at the time. No longer could the current version of JMM handle the current version of Pacquiao, lets move on! The facts are Pac is now a completely different fighter and JMM would not be able to handle the 140+ version of Pac. The previous fights are officially moot. In addition to that all of Pacs losses are completely moot and I'm sick of Mayweather's excuses of not wanting to fight Pac or anyone for that matter and bringing up their losses. He said Mosely isn't legit because he has losses on his record... PBF is the biggest black eye on the sport of boxing and i puke in my mouth uttering his name.

Questioning why Pac avoids the question of wanting to fight Floyd Manny never calls out anyone, that is not his M.O. - He fights and gives his all to anyone they put in front of him, end of story...

If Mayweather is waiting for Pac to call him out, or give PBF a 65/35 split then its sad the boxing world will never see this fight ever happen...


I hate everything PBF represents in the sport boxing (i don't think i need to list the obvious reasons), and i will never respect him as a person (another needless list). He was something special as a lightweight and he is an extremely giftled athlete; but, i'm done with him... I could go on... But like i said, i'm done with him...

The weight was depicting of what Pac has become not the weight that they would fight at...

The discussion was centered round boxing ABILITY not WEIGHT in which JMM is better than Cotto and PBF is better than both of them

I agree... However, The boxing ability I was referring too is the welterweight version of Pacquiao... Which has become better then JMM and Cotto.. PBF is still to be seen...

I'm a Pac fan too but I'm not going to exaggerate how he looks now or excuse the fact that JMM has been or will always be a problem until proven otherwise. By the way, Pac/JMM II was a year and a half ago. Thats recent, years ago isn't. You can't go by what Pac does to other fighters and say he is past JMM. Pac was blowing out Morales and Barerra while he was having hell against JMM.

Stylistically yes JMM "gave" pac all sorts of trouble, but once again i truly feel that Pac has evolved dramatically between his last fight with JMM and the version we see today...Pac has been getting increasingly better after every match. JMM has leveled off and is who he is. If a 3rd match up ever happens i'm sorry but it won't go the distance and/or it won't be nearly as close as the first two, especially if JMM decides to fight Pac at 140.

I will say though JMM was as close as it gets to being Manny's kriptonite stylistically "so to speak"...
