he looked good, clean crisp punches, and worked the body nicely, honestly think he'll have Khan out of there before the 5th

I'd sure as hell like to watch it!

If Maidana manages to keep knocking people out he'll get the fight. The problem is if he keeps knocking people out to well, he'll end up fighting a Cotto or Manny and get beat.

Him vs Khan would be a good, close blend of styles.

Maidana hits hard, fast and accurate, but is very open and does get knocked down easy. Knocked down, but not knocked out though!

Maidana is a pure brawler. I think a rematch with Ortiz would be more exciting than him fighting Khan.

Agree with you there. But Ortiz wouldn't fight him. He complained after the fight about how he wanted to preserve his looks! Didn't sound like he gave a shit anymore, if he went in to the ring then he'd get beat again as his head ain't where it should be.

the kid (Ortiz) is 22 years old and fought a dumb fight against a HUGE player in the division (Maidana), possibly the hardest hitting fighter at 140 (look what he managed to do to Ortiz's face in a single round, and i mean physical damage, that swelling was crazy), i think that his people are too desperate and in too much of a rush to cash out on this kids talent and personality, they're basically pulling another Fernando Vargas, IMO they take the time to build up his confidence and work on his defense and he'll be a major player at 140
