Default So sad for Roy Jones.

What a sad sight that was seeing a living legend beaten in the 1st rd. I hope he doesnt follow in the footsteps of Holyfield in chasing that one last shot at glory. He should hang up the gloves and hopefully stay in the game as an excellent commentator.

Moving up to Crusierweight to fight someone like Green was in hindsight an obvious mistake, Jones jr has been shot since the Tarver KO, Jones jr was never in the fight with Calzaghe and should have retired then. This was sad to see a former great boxing legend sparked with what was pretty much the first punch Green threw at him! If i was Green i would be shedding a few pounds and throwing out my challenge to Ward, Abraham, Froch and co.

Yeah, having his head facing away sideways arm down so Green could come over his shoulder was an obvious mistake too.

I think Roy underestimated his power and speed, he nearly had the shot covered on reaction the way he would of in his prime, but , oh well. :-(
