    Default Mayweather vs Hatton II

Mathew Hatton is line up to fight Mayweather next year if the Manny fight does'nt go ahead. The date will be the same(march the 13th 2010)but Maywether is very keen on comming to the uk to fight Ricky Hatton's younger brother Mathew. If this fight happens with Mathew Hatton vs Floyd Mayweather i would truly be surprised at Mayweathers choice of opponant. This is all genuine news that i've read in todays paper, infact its stated that Mathew Hattons lawyer had already planned to fight Mayweather before the challenge from Manny! He's next on the list and Floyd is really interested in taking it.Has Floyd lost his mind??

Given all the options out there, this would be an extremely poor choice for Mayweather to go after. I mean hell: Aydin would be a better choice than Hatton. Collazo would be another guy I think could make an exciting fight with him. Maybe if he fought Matthew Hatton and Bobby Pacquiao at the same time that might be worth it, but this is worse than Pacquiao fighting Malignaggi.

Is there any actual source that would indicate Floyd is remotely considering this? Or is it just more along the lines of MAtthew Hatton wanting the payday...... This would be a complete joke if it came off, you can't even call it a fight. If Manny won't take whatever comprehensive blood tests would be required to cast doubt aside, then Floyd should just wait and fight the winner of Berto-Mosley. That is still a huge fight nobody could object to.

Well I think Floyd wants to fight in the UK but someone needs to let him no that Matthew Hatton is not a draw, I think he feels Matthew in terms of fanbase is in the same league as Ricky, I think he should fight in the uk but bringing anyone from the Us would be a bigger draw than Matthew Hatton for the uk fans.

Would rather see Mayweather vs Khan.. Khan is definately a bigger challenge than Matthew, although Mayweather would still walk over Khan.

I would be more interested to see him fight Charlie Zelenoff actually. At least, that would be a fun thing to see.

This will truly cement Floyds legacy, since beating that great Welter Ricky Hatton, hiding sorry retiring for 2 years and then taking on the other great Welterweight, JMM, he now is truly challenging himself against the younger brother of Ricky. Wow, hope they charge us at least £50 for this entertainment.

I bet if he challenged Paul Williams he'd immediately drop the rematch with Sergio Martinez.

i'm all for matty getting a payday but if Mayweather takes this fight he needs to be dropped from any P4P list IMHO

i'd rather see him fight Khan if he was traveling to the UK but even that would be a massive missmatch.

The thought of this is just hilarious. I mean, matthew hatton has improved alot over the last 2/3 years, but he aint world class. You gotta be world class to be in the ring with floyd. Far better match ups out thier for hatton.

It's obvious that Floyd wants to travel to the UK as he has mentioned it before! but if he's going to the UK to fight he needs to choose a better opponent! This is a joke and if it goes ahead Floyd desserves a kick in the face.

Floyd should at least fight a worthy british challenger even if he is considering this a warm up for moseley; maybe khan or whoever.

But if Mayweather fights Matthew Hatton fuck Floyd.
