Thread: if the fight doesnt happen, Manny needs to get in with Mosley....

at 147, barring an upset in the mosley-berto fight i think this should definatley be the next move if manny-floyd doesnt come off

It seems that testing would be a must should he face any Golden Boy or Al Haymon managed fighter. Which rules out Mosley, Berto and Williams. I suspect we're far more likely to see Mayweather fight these guys because right now I think his camp know it would be a great PR move for him with Manny fighting Foreman.

I would just like every elite fighter to put random blood testing on the negotiation table w/ Pacquiao.

The random blood testing is nowhere near as insulting as the $10 mil fine per pound over the weight limit that Mayweather agreed to.

Iv just read that Mosely would also want Manny tested.

Any other fighter than top rank will want testing, although Mosley may not like it that much

How long will it take Mayweather to make a fight? If he waits too long to get the March 13th date, he may lose it.

Will he make a fighters move and meet the winner of Mosley/Berto.

Will he make another so called warm up and or hope Pacquiao gets by Clottey? If he does that and Mosley gets by Berto, we might just see a Pacquiao with Mosley.

he already has the date reserved regardless of whoever he fights, the fact that it's taking this long to make a fight that isn't against Pacquiao shows that he was in fact the only one who was truly interested in the fight between him and Manny, Pacquiao getting a fight with Clottey and venue reserved in about 3 days shows that he never really was interested in a fight with Mayweather, Pacquiao is a pussy who probably has more drugs in him than the pharmacy down the street

Mayweather fighting on March 13th is a premise that he can line up a fight someone with enough draw to meet his money requirement as well as his opponent accepting the fight on shorter and shorter notice. I pretty sure he can fight the winner of Mosley/Berto on such short notice. His best option to make money and show he has real balls is to step into the ring with Williams with a limit of 154lbs but we know there is no fuk'n way he's going to do that!

That is as stupid statement about Pacquiao that I've ever seen. Who has he ever ducked? He about to step into the ring with a guy having a history of weighing well over 160lbs.

I cant copy and paste the particular bit but Schaefer says that Manny would have to now have random blood tests with all Golden boy fighters and he highlighted "and that includes mosley"

he just ducked Floyd Mayweather and he's been ducking the hell out of Marquez ever since he was given a gift decision against Marquez, yea he's fighting a guy with a history of weighing in well over 160 lbs. (who already lost to Cotto) and at a catchweight of 144 lbs. , don't kid yourself numbers don't lie, Mayweather is still the bigger name and he's gonna have no problem getting a decent opponent for March 13th

Williams has to give Martinez a rematch, i think everyone agrees on that, so seriously fighters that are on Clottey's level that would be suitable replacements for Pacneedle
