I wonder if there is any truth to his injury, otherwise...........Business first, boxing second. standard operating procedure.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.
That really, really fucking sucks for Johnson. He's earned his shot the hard way, just like every other time he's gotten in the mix, and he deserves a chance to become champion.
It does suck for Johnson, I want to give Cloud the benefit of the doubt for now though, and Johnson still IS the mandatory, so there is no reason to think the fight won't happen. Cloud doesn't have much of a following so I think if he loses his belt there isn't much reason for people to fight him at least on a televised level.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.
Cloud was really entering into some nice career momentum and exposure... this one would have put him on the map....not saying he wins it.Shame if he did sign with King, off into obscurity for him Imo.
Look what he's done with Alexander though... pity this fight is off. The series of quality fights falling through continues! This fight would have shown us exactly where both fighters stand, the young lion vs the grizzled vet. I hope it can be salvaged in the near future
The Best There Is, The Best There Was, The Best There Ever Will Be
Gutted, this was going to be a very good card...
Well this fukking sucks...
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"
King didn't do shit for Alexander. Alexander has been largely inactive the past few years and Kevin Cunningham and his manager have both publicly blasted King for his handling, and that's like his best non-heavyweight I think.
