    Default Latimore/Powell II

Alright they're going to go at it again this time, Powell claims he's not going to be stoned so he should win. I like Deandre he's got that cinderella story thing going, in their first fight he was a clear underdog and brought in as a stay busy opponent for Powell. Teddy Atlas went to great lengths to talk about how he (Latimore) had a padded record that was virtually meaningless because of where his fights had happened (Missouri).

Apparently Latimore didn't get the memo and used his solid fundamentals and constant stalking style to wear down Powell. Powell seemed to be unable to get his counters off and when they did land, they did little to deter Latimore. Powell then resorted to mind games trying to make it look like a rope-a-dope, but paid the price with some telling power combos from Latimore. Even though Powell didn't look very hurt, after a barrage of unanswered punches the ref stepped in to put a stop to the action in the 7th round.

I really hope Latimore can pull it out again. Powell has a lot to prove and needs a decisive win to become relevant again.

Fuck the chat room, I'm banned from there for some reason no one has explained to me yet.

I'm pumped for this, the first was one of those little sleeper scraps that is always good to watch every so often, I've seen it a lot. I like both guys, I guess this is Powell's last shot then.

Well Rodriguez looked pretty good there, good upper body movement sharp punches, he should be able to move to fringe contender at super middle pretty easy.

I don't like Roach. Talks a lot of nonsense. But i agree 100% on his thoughts about Clottey's crap performance

Why did they show a picture of Rafa when they were talking about JMM?

The Pac/Margarito fight doesn't appeal to me at all. Mosley proved Antonio can't handle speed, sooooooo.......................I guess it's likely Roach, Arum I mean Pacquiao will pick him

Brewer looks like he's trying to get stopped.

damnit I'm talking to myself again. I have to think a well-conditioned Fernandez sparks out Brewer quickly.

When you have a style like Brewer, you can't have any lapses in roungs anstill win them. He gets hit to much to be successful like this.
