Some guys simply don’t know what the notion of cherry picking means . They take on all comers. Sometimes, they pay dearly for it, but not always. One obvious choice to me is Jermain “Bad Intentions” Taylor. Heck, he fought Bernard Hopkins twice and Kelly Pavlik twice. That’s enough for an entire career. But he also duked with Arthur Abraham, Carl Froch, Jeff Lacey, Cory Spinks, Kassim Ouma, Ronald “Winky” Wright, an undefeated Daniel Edourad, William Joppy, Sam Hill, Grady Brewer, and in his very first fight, Chris Walsh (17-4-1 coming in). Only one of his opponents had a losing record (it was 3-4). If you add up the won-loss records of his opponents, the combined result would be eye brow-raising.

Bottom line: Jermain Taylor does not know what cherry picking is all about.

Glen Johnson immediately comes to mind.

I'm trying to remember who Zab Judah has ducked and no names come to mind.

Jhonny Gonzalez fights everyone he can.

Edison Miranda also fights whoever comes his way.

I can't stand him, but Kelly Pavlik.

I know someone will say he ducked Williams, but I really don't think that was the case. He's said repeatedly that he would fight him but that he doesn't think the fight can get made.

Yeah, the Williams thing and the Sergio Mora thing. I'm still waiting to see him back out the Martinez fight tbh.

    Chris Arreola ducks noone.

Vic Darchinyan will fight a HW if they would let him...

Glen Johnson has never ducked anyone.....

    Shane Mosley...Pacquiao...Winky Wright.....

Still though I think DLH easily holds the most impressive resume of the last 20 years easy in terms of quality opponents faced in a row

JMM has to be giving his a run for his money, fought both p4p #1 fighters of his day (Mayweather, Pacquiao x2), the #1 Lightweight in the world (Casamayor), the #2 Lightweight in the world (Diaz), the #1 Featherweight in the world (John), the #2 Featherweight in the world (Juarez), throw in solid challenges in Jandaeng and Jaca, that's a pretty solid consistent resume, even if these guys don't have the star power of ODLH's resume.

First i'd say shane mosley, winky wright, emmanulle augustus or burton...

secondly I wouldn't say Zab ducked Mosley, but he mysteriously hurt his hand and got out of that fight then less than a month signed to fight clottey...and in that fight tried to fake his way out of being stopped by citing he couldn't see because of a headbutt when it was clear that it was punch..

Sorry but Pavilk CLEARLY ducked Williams. You don't cancel a fight with someone and schedule a fight with a much lessor opponant 3 weeks later. Clear cut case of ducking I don't care how many times he says he'll fight williams.

I would definitely agree with Jermaine Taylor, if only all fighters took on all comers like him. Pacman is definitely another.....
