Default Fight Of The Year Candidate's So Far.

Gonna keep updating this thread over 2010.

    Angel Rivero vs Daniel Estrada
    Miguel Roman vs Antonio Escalante
    Kelly Pavlik vs Sergio Martinez
    Yonnhy Perez vs Abner Mares
    Mikkel Kessler vs Carl Froch
    Ricky Burns vs Roman Martinez
Juan Manuel Lopez vs Bernabe Concepcion Round Of The Year

Can't really think of many other great action fights, at the moment. But if there are anymore, then let us know.

I don't really have anything to add for this year yet..

I think the FOY for 09 had to be Paul Williams - Sergio Martinez.

Typical I haven't seen either of these.

Not a lot of excitement so far this year, probably my fave fight event was Pacquaio cos it was great to see him beat up a bigger stronger guy, but it was hardly an exciting fight.

I actually think the most fun fight I've seen so far this year was Jesse Brinkley in his upset win over Curtis Stevens.

I know most will trash it but I really enjoyed Abraham against Dirrell too, a shock winner, a controversial ending, a couple of knockdowns, blood, what more can you ask for.

Roman/Escalante so far for me. Escalante showed he has the heart and skills to be a champ. Roman's pressure was intense throughout, I have no idea how Escalante gutted that out.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

Arthur Abraham vs Andre Dirrell wasn't a bad fight, it was better than i expected. Joshua Clottey vs Manny Pacquiao was too one way for me, but i think we have got some FOTY candidates coming up.

    Kevin Mitchell vs Michael Katsidis
Rafael Marquez vs Israel Vasquez 4
    Kelly Pavlik vs Sergio Martinez
    Abner Mares vs Yonnhy Perez
    Floyd Mayweather vs Shane Mosley
Timothy Bradley vs Luis Carlos Abregu
    Nate Campbell vs Victor Ortiz
Carl Froch vs Mikkel Kessler/Arthur Abraham
    Alfredo Angulo vs Joel Julio
    Chris Arreola vs Tomasz Adamek
    Paul Williams vs Kermit Cintron
    JMM vs Juan Diaz 2

Im really looking forward to most of these fights, i expect to be adding atleast half of these fights to my list in the future.

Williams-Martinez was the hell of a fight. This one should at least be considered.

For me, nothing yet. But it is far too early anyway.

Mr Hobbit, Mr MoFrazier, you're both right, my mistake. Then, I would say that I've seen nothing yet that deserves to me mentioned the fight of the year and that I will wait a couple more fights before pointing a potential winner.

I still shake my head at my friend for choosing to watch Kimbo vs Houston Alexander over the Paul Williams - Sergio Martinez fight, because, and I quote, "It's gonna be whack."

Add Kelly Pavlik vs Sergio Martinez to the list, and Lucian Bute vs Edison Miranda for the KO of the year candidate, along with Audley Harrison over Michael Sprott.

Adding Alfredo Angulo vs Joel Julio, Carl Froch vs Mikkel Kessler.
